Durga temple is situated at the heart of the town. This temple is far from half kilometer from private bus stand. This is the first Durga Mandap of Bolangir. From 1936 to now Maa Durga is workshiped here. Sri Sartuik Mishra Devasharma & Sri Santosh Mishra are the two abbe of this temple. At the time of morning Mangala Aalati & at the time of evening Sandhya Aalati is held everyday. At the morning & evening Balabhoga is offered to Maa Durga & at noon Arnabhoga is offered to Maa Durga. Here Basantik Navaratra Puja, Dasahara Puja, Dhabala Mukhi Besa, Paruaa Parab is observed every year. At the time of Mangala Aalati & Sandhya Aalati Ghanta, Sankha, Dhol, Nisan, Tasa rang & the devotees heart beat is faster & a enlight environment is created.
